Plus they've been discontinued for years, if your buying one now, someone has already used the thing for how long. I myself considered the greddy type-s when I was buying a blow off valve. WebFeb 14, 2004 · Location: Burbank, CA. Vehicle: 2006 WRX TR. 1997 Supra Turbo. There are 2 ways to get the "turkey fluttering sound". One is by having a FMIC, as dan noted above. That's a good sound. The other is to have your spring too tight, causing the BOV to open and close rapidly as the charge air bounces off of the turbo.

Also, with the Greddy, it depends on if you use both ports for the amount of adjustability that you'll have.
